Daniel A. Scaduto, Chairman and CEO Mr. Scaduto started in data processing in the late 1960’s, and has been a pioneer in technology. He created iS3 Inc. in July 1991 and provided software services for the retail industry to distinguished clients such as Kmart, Foley’s Department Stores, Bloomingdales, Waldenbooks, Gordon’s Jewelers, Burdines and a long list of specialty stores. At the beginning of 2001, iS3 became an internet security company. Pop-Ups, Spyware, Viruses, Identity Theft, and Malware as it is known today were becoming a big threat to personal security and Dan became deeply involved in the creation of STOPzilla, iS3′s flagship security product, to provide protection for internet users. After twelve years of industry expertise, Mr. Scaduto is still involved in the development of products for the internet and mobile devices. Dan is also involved in the creation of new distribution and partner channels. In his role as Chairman, Mr. Scaduto is always seeking strategic opportunities for iS3. Dan is an avid world traveller who is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Italian.
William P. Ragusa, Vice President of Operations Mr. Ragusa has been in information systems since early 1980′s, being a native New Yorker and living on Long Island, Mr. Ragusa’s started his run on Park Avenue in New York City for Scudder, Stevens & Clark Inc. , A company that managed approximately $44 billion in a variety of open-end and closed-end funds for nearly two million shareholder accounts. Then Mr. Ragusa worked at the Joint Industry Board Local Union No. 3 in Flushing Queens, A company that promoted harmony within the electrical industry and address labor-management issues for electrical workers and contractors. Then spending 25 years there after working with Newsday Inc. , A American daily newspaper, that primarily serves Nassau and Suffolk counties and the New York City borough of Queens on Long Island, although it is sold throughout the New York metropolitan area. As of 2009, its weekday circulation of 377,500 was the 11th-highest in the United States. Now working with the executive team at iS3 inc., Mr. Ragusa has an approach to ensure the quality execution of new products and services through developing processes and systems that will integrate the efforts of various cross departments at iS3. Mr. Ragusa comes from a customer service IT background that drives the increasing brand value and the overall customer experience.
