What is a Trojan?
A Trojan is malicious software disguised as a gift; some helpful or fun application that you download and has malicious instructions hidden within the code. For example, a Trojan could insert Spyware in your computer, harvest your stored e-mail addresses and use them for spamming, log your keystrokes to capture passwords, credit card information, bank credentials or other sensitive identifiers, and allow criminals to access your computer remotely.
